I love how this book keeps the reader wondering what the mouse is going to ask for next all because he wanted a cookie to begin with. It also kind of makes you not want to ever give a mouse a cookie, but who could not resist this cute little mouse character. I would use this book in my classroom for a cause and effect lesson. I would also read the story and have a cookie day as well.
